How do I create a Mixed Level class?

From September 2020, we have simplified how Mixed Level classes are handled in BuildUp.

If, for example, you have a 2nd year class, with some students following the Higher Level course and other following the Ordinary Level course, you can:

• Create a "classroom" for your 2nd year HL students, and give this Enrol Code to those students on the HL course
• Create another "classroom" for you 2nd year OL students, and give the different Enrol Code to those students on the OL course

By creating 2 "classrooms" in BuildUp, it ends up being much easier to manage the class. Why?

1. By giving different Enrol Codes, you can more easily manage the appropriate level for each student
2. Assignments and reports for the two sets of students can be managed separately and are easier to understand

If a student later wants to change level, they can now simply "Join a new class" and use the appropriate Enrol Code.
